About Us
St Mary's Catholic High School was built in 1956 as a secondary modern school. In the last few years the school has gone through a great transformation in a short space of time. We have had to take a very close look at our offer to pupils and parents and this has brought opportunities for reflection, innovation and change. A devastating fire which gutted two thirds of the school in 2013 has brought about a new building, which presents a wonderful environment for education, we know that what matters is exciting teaching that delivers good learning, high expectations in terms of behaviour and a focus on spiritual development for children growing up in a world which sometimes presents moral dilemmas.
Our Childcare Provision
Our pupils are cheerful, had working and polite. The high expectations we have to pupil behaviour means that relationships are strong and trusted and this fosters confidence and progress for all.
