About Us
The education we provide is within the teachings of the Catholic Church. Our Lady's places Christ at the centre of all we do, children are taught to nuture their relationship with God and through this, their interactions with others. We welcome children from all faiths and of all abilities.We share and celebrate our faith in regular Masses and liturgies. The school has grown from strength to strength and in 2014/15 achieved their best KS2 results. The school was signaled out by the Head of Education and Learning for Devon for the work we do for improving outcomes for disadvantaged children. The school is committed to the THRIVE approach. Under the direction of our full-time SENCO, we have six fully trained practitioners whilst All staff receive internal training to support our children.
The school has a wide range of clubs and activities which take place after school. Sport plays an important part in the life of the school. Each child receives a minimum of high quality P.E every week.All children leave our school with the ability to swim at least 25m
Music enriches the school in many ways and the children have the opportunity to learn an instrument in school.
The school is also a 'Google Apps' school and we teach the children a progressive computing programme.
The school also has an active PTFA which consistently raises funds for the school and the children.
Our Childcare Provision
Wrap around provision - Breakfast Club and After School Club. On site nursery form 2 years upwards.
