About Us
Welcome to Park School – a school full of smiles. The School was established in 1928 and is now a vibrant, thriving and very happy school of some 280 boys and girls.
The site has grown tremendously over years of sustained investment. We currently occupy four large detached houses and very sizeable grounds with generous playgrounds, an astro pitch and additional buildings which include a sports hall, art room, dining hall, music room and extra classrooms.
We have built a very strong reputation for excellence in the education of young children. Many of our children pass the test to one of our local Grammar Schools. Many also gain scholarships to local independent secondary schools. Our carefully differentiated teaching and support for those who need it mean that all of our children progress fast at their own level, whether they are academic high fliers or pupils benefiting from a steadier pace.
Our Childcare Provision
We have two classes in each year group from Reception to Year 6 with an average of 20 children in each class. Below that, we have an extremely popular Nursery which has children from 2 years old until they join school at 4 years old.
