About Us
Plym Bridge Nursery School and Day Care is a Plymouth Local Authority Maintained Nursery School and Day Care establishment. We are part of a Federation with Ham Drive Nursery School and Day Care and the Board of Governors and Headteacher are responsible for both schools.
Both the Nursery School and Day Care work from the premise that each child is unique and has their own individual needs and our planning is based on our observation of the children, leading to a uniquely rich and varied curriculum, fully in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage. We benefit from a wonderful outdoor area and access to the facilities on the Tor Bridge campus which we make regular use of.
We welcome visits, by appointment, and can also provide taster sessions in the Day Care.
Our Childcare Provision
Plym Bridge Day Care provides care and education for children from 3 months to 3 years from 07.45 until 18.15; 50 weeks of the year. The Day Care has highly qualified and experienced staff who work closely with the Nursery School staff to provide the highest quality practice. The Nursery School is staffed by qualified, experienced early years teachers and teaching assistants and is open term time only. We offer two year old funded places and paying spaces in the Day Care and as well as the 15 hours Nursery funding we are also able to provide wrap around care in the Nursery School during the term time.
