About Us
Sacred Heart Secondary Catholic Voluntary Academy is a thriving, well established and successful 11-16 voluntary aided, mixed comprehensive Roman Catholic academy in the Diocese of Middlesbrough. We exist to provide a community that values Catholic traditions and beliefs, our priorities are:
To care for the community
To encourage individual growth
To work towards academic success
Judged to be outstanding by both Ofsted and the Diocese of Middlesbrough in Autumn 2011, the success of the academy is down to the commitment of staff, students and governors striving together for excellence, and the recognition that each individual has something unique that only they can contribute to the growth and development of the academy community.
