About Us

Southcoates Primary Academy has been providing education to the children of this part of the city for over 100 years. We are proud of our history, but work hard to ensure that the children of Southcoates are prepared for life in the modern world. Our curriculum is designed to give them the skills they will need to succeed in the next phase of their education.

In 2014 we became part of the Enquire Learning Trust. Since then we have been able to focus on on ensuring every child reaches their potential and gets the most out of all that school has to offer.

Our Childcare Provision

We offer a free Breakfast Club to any child that attends the school full time. Breakfast Club starts at 7.45am - through to the start of the school day at 8.55am. Children can have toast cereal and fruit juice - then play games and chat with their friends.

There is currently not the demand for a formal after school club offering child care provision. However, the school runs a range of after school activities four nights a week. These clubs run from 3.15pm to 4.15pm (Monday to Thursday). Again these are all free - though spaces are limited.
