St Buryan Primary School is an academy converter school in Penzance. According to the latest government data, it has approximately 105 pupils and allows entry for children aged 4-11.
About Us
We are a small village school of just under 100 pupils. Visitors to the school often comment on the friendly family feel of the school. Our school team believes that the child comes first and it is our aim to instill a love of lifelong learning for all. We offer a broad, balanced curriculum based both inside and outside the classroom, providing many opportunities for all year groups. Even our youngest learners enjoy weekly swimming sessions all year for instance, along with the rest of the school.
We are currently ranked joint second in the School Performance Tables for schools in West Cornwall are are delighted to be placed within the top 10% of schools nationally.
Our Childcare Provision
We are able to offer funded places for preschool children from the term after their third birthday (and are currently trialling provision for 2 year olds approaching 3) within our Little Choughs situation.
Our main school provision caters for pupils from 4-11 years.
We offer wrap around extended childcare which offers great flexibility for working parents.
Our Breakfast Club opens for childcare at 8am daily and runs until the start of the school day at 8.55am.
Our after school club (Activities R Us) offers affordable childcare from the end of school until 5.30pm.
