About Us
St Hilda’s is a preparatory school for girls aged 4 to 11, along with a nursery for boys and girls aged 2 – 4. We understand how to nurture and develop young minds and ensure that we provide a happy and supportive, yet challenging environment. We aim to provide an excellent, well-balanced, academic education within a supportive, caring community encouraging each child to give and achieve her personal best and to develop into an independent individual, with a deep respect for others, who is fully prepared to take the next step in her education with enthusiasm and confidence.
Our Childcare Provision
In addition to our regular school day, we offer a thriving After School Club until 18.30, plus an optional Breakfast Club from 07.30. After school, younger children can read, relax and play games, whilst the older ones do their homework under the supervision of a qualified teacher. All enjoy a hot, freshly prepared tea.
