Our Childcare Provision
The Clere School provides The Watership Down After School Club offers childcare to children between the ages of 4 and 14. Based in the Community/Training Suite at The Clere School, our high quality and affordable service was introduced to help parents to manage their busy lifestyles throughout the academic year. We operate from 3pm to 6pm, Monday to Thursday and 3pm to 5.30pm on Fridays.
The Clere School is a safe and caring environment which is Ofsted registered. Although the main location for the club is the Community/Training Suite, children and staff are given the opportunity to explore other areas on-site including the school field, Gymnasium and Sports Hall.
Our team of experienced play workers are qualified in childcare and have undertaken Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene training in order to maintain your child’s health and wellbeing. They are able to identify the needs of each individual and ensure that children are cared for accordingly. We work to the national staff to children ratio, 1:8.
If your child attends a local primary school, we will be able to transport them to The Clere School by foot, where they can participate in a wide range of exciting activities until home time. Our staff members engage the children through structured play, sports and art activities.
