Tunstall Nursery School is a la nursery school school in Croydon. According to the latest government data, it has approximately 125 pupils and allows entry for children aged 3-5.
About Us
Tunstall Nursery School and Children’s Centre is a maintained nursery school which also has two year old provision. The nursery is an access point for Children’s Centre activities.
Our Childcare Provision
We have 100 places for three year old children and also offer 30 funded places for two year olds. They attend either:
• five morning sessions per week or
• five afternoon sessions per week or
• We have a small number of all-day places for 3 and 4 year old children whose parents/carers who are in full time employment or education. Please note there is an additional charge for these places.
Morning sessions are from 8.30 am until 11.30 am
Afternoon sessions are from 12.30pm until 3.30 pm
All day session is from 9.00am until 3.00pm
Extended Services (Only available for 3 and 4 year olds)
We have the following available which run in term time:
• Breakfast club between 7.30 a.m. – 8.30 a.m. - £6.00 per day (including breakfast)
• Lunch Club (For 3 and 4 year olds) between 11.30 a.m. – 12.30 p.m. - £5.00 per day (each child bringing a packed lunch)
• After School Club between 3.30p.m. – 6.00 p.m. - £13.00 per day or 3.30 p.m. – 4.30 p.m. - £6.00 (including a cooked tea)
These initiatives have to be self- financing and we will only be available to provide these services if there is sufficient need.
We have permission from the Local Authority to market any unfilled places in the Nursery Classes. There is a charge of £20.00 per session i.e. £100.00 per week for 3 and 4 year olds, and £25 for 2 year olds per session, ie £125 per week. 2 year olds will stay for the morning or the afternoon session. This does not include the cost of lunch.
