West Town Primary Academy is an academy sponsor led school in Peterborough. According to the latest government data, it has approximately 415 pupils and allows entry for children aged 4-11.
About Us
We are the flagship primary for Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust and are located in the heart of the city of Peterborough. We have a diverse range of cultures and ethnic backgrounds and embrace learning is a positive, inclusive way.
We have a planned new build which will open in the Autumn term of 2016. We will grow in size, over time, to a three form entry Primary Academy that spans three teaching and learning floors as well as vast specialist areas spaces dedicated to Art, DT, Music and Drama.
Our Childcare Provision
Currently, we have a very successful breakfast club that runs from 7.45am each day where the children have a healthy breakfast followed by some activities that encourage exercise and learning but has an emphasis on fun.
Come January 2017, if demand is there, we plan to extend to an activities based after school club in addition to the varied extra curriculum clubs we run every day of the week after school.
We are looking forward to exciting times ahead.
