Our Childcare Provision

Whinfield Breakfast and After School Childcare

The onsite childcare provision offers affordable breakfast and after school care in the safety and comfort of the school premises.

Our aim is to provide an affordable healthy and active start and end to the school day within the school premises, offering peace of mind for working parents and is available to all pupils attending Whinfield Primary School, however, places are limited to ensure adequate staffing ratios.

Application forms can be downloaded from our school website www.whinfield,net or are available from Mrs Porter and the school office and places are allocated on a first come first served basis. When the number of places is exceeded, a waiting list will be in operation. All children must have applied and been allocated a place in order to attend.

Children’s details, medical conditions, parental contact details, allergy information, additional emergency contact details are stored securely in breakfast club. Parents have full responsibility for ensuring these contact details are kept up to date, and that the staff are promptly informed of any changes.

Breakfast and a snack are provided and a range of activities are offered in the school hall which provides a safe, secure and relaxed environment between Monday to Friday 8am to 8.45am and 3.00pm - 6.00pm during school term time.

Childcare fees are £2 per session for BREAKFAST and £8.00 per session AFTER SCHOOL which is payable weekly, monthly OR TERMLY in advance.
