Had pupil wet herself in class, as refused toilet

2 stars

I had moved my child from this school to another primary after too many instances of extremely concerning behaviour by the school staff. One was where a pupil, aged around 7, was made to wet herself in class in front of everyone because she was refused to go to the toilet.

Another event the staff arranged for the children was called "circle of truth", where children were made to sit in a large circle, and the teacher chose one child to sit inside it. Then, the other children were to go around, take turns and say what they liked and didn't like about that child. I had only found out about this from my own child as the school never told parents about this. Was mortified beyond belief.

Finally, they had decided to hold back certain children at random, for a year, just for an "experiment". My child was one of these they were going to hold back, even though they were getting high marks and well behaved, etc. That was the final straw.

This school has been under the eye of Ofsted for some years, it has struggled to meet even basic standards. One of the areas they failed in was not doing much about bullying.
