About Us
Woodcroft is a maintained Nursery School with Essex County Council with additional childcare services for 2-3 yr old and before and after school clubs, and a lunch club.
Each class is led by a qualified School Teacher with support from a team of dedicated and experienced Nursery Nurses. Child are encouraged to be adventurous, to explore and discover the world through play. A wide range of adult and child led opportunities ensure that children continually progress in all areas of leaning.
We welcome visitors and would love you to stay and play as a free taster session.
Our Childcare Provision
We offer 3 our core sessions twice a day - morning and afternoon. This is when you receive your free 15 hours of provision, either for 3&4 year olds, or for 2 yr olds (if eligible for funding). Wrapped around these are childcare clubs - breakfast (1 hour), Lunch (1 hour), and after school (up to 2.5 hours). These are separately charged, as are any additional session, all at a very competitive price.
