My Experience
I have a son of my own although he is older now. Before having my own child, I worked for many families in Sussex and as a carer for children and young people with autism and varying special needs. I have lots of experience in helping to run a household /mothers help.
I provide childcare / babysitting support, overnight childcare, school wrap around (this can be before and after school), ad hoc or regular hours when needed. I have experience with sleep and feeding routines and can support weaning and potty training.
I live in a beautiful part of Sussex and enjoy the outdoors. I have a car and a full driving license.
I currently clean regularly for two families weekly, Cleaning is charged at £15p/h.

Katie takes care of our two children, aged 7 and 10, during weekends when we're away for work, and they absolutely adore her. Their genuine sadness when she leaves and their excitement when they know she's coming back because we're working again speaks volumes about her excellence. To be fair that alone is all the evidence I need that she's the right Nanny for them.
Katie is not only reliable, punctual, and professional, but she exudes fantastic positive energy. She effortlessly takes the children out to the park, for walks, and on day trips, demonstrating super independence in planning activities while ensuring they attend their clubs and other scheduled events.
I appreciate her enthusiasm for involving them in baking and cooking meals, and it's a delight to return home after a long day to find the house tidy, a delicious Oreo cake awaiting, and the kids washed, in their pyjamas, eagerly awaiting family time before bed.
Katie excels at nurturing my children's diverse interests, engaging in art and painting with my daughter, and discussing karate and sports with my son. She invests genuine effort into making them feel valued and cared for. I'm grateful to have found Katie and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking a nanny.

We have employed Katie since July 2023 to help us both with our household and to take care of our homeschooled children. Kate is hardworking, kind, reliable and just a pleasure to be around. I credit Katie's help and attention to our family for my extended postpartum recovery. I struggle to leave my children with many people but when they are with Katie, I am completely relaxed and can focus on my own needs and my work.
She takes feedback openly and is easy to communicate with. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Katie.

Katie is warm, friendly and experienced. Easy to trust and my little one clearly felt the same as she’s not been left before but had an absolute blast with Katie and couldn’t wait for her to come back. 10/10 would recommend.

Katie has been looking after my youngest weekly for a few months now plus occasional evenings watching both kiddos, and she’s so fantastic I almost don’t know where to start! Really lovely, intuitive, reliable and flexible, and gives a real sense of comfort that my babies are in good hands. Equally importantly, my two (normally somewhat shy) little ones LOVE her, I would give 10 stars out of 5 if that were an option! Very highly recommended by my whole family!

Our family needed someone reliable and who could take initiative. We also had variable school pick up needs that required flexibility and a car. Katie provides all of this and more, looking after our two boys.
Her job title could include: super nanny, expert baker, dog whisperer, chauffeur, PlayStation gamer, school homework taskmaster, and family advisor. I highly recommend Katie!
