My name is Harriet, I'm 30 years old and have over 6 years experience as a full-time nanny to children aged 3 and up. I'm well educated, well spoken with a masters degree in English from UCL (I have also done some English tutoring) and have a background in theatre. I enjoy being creative and take pride in planning fun, educational activities for kids - preferably outside, weather permitting! I can help with homework, organise day-outs and I have a real muck-in attitude. I have no qualms emptying the dishwasher and generally helping out around the house whilst babysitting. I also adore pets so any dog-walking or animal care would be a bonus rather than a burden!
My Experience
I started as a live-in nanny to B6 and G7 back in 2015 and then became a live-out nanny in London to 3 girls aged 4 and twins aged 6. I stayed with the second family for over 5 years and it was by far one of the most rewarding jobs I've ever had. I now work in marketing and I'm looking for some regular babysitting work, including weekends and after-school care. My skills lie in managing multiple children, being a fun, engaging (but fairly firm when needed - I'm very hot on manners and being respectful) child-carer who is adaptable, outgoing and organised. I've always bonded closely with the children in my care and it's important to me that they trust me and feel safe. I'm very much a childcarer who likes to get involved so you'll always see me out in garden, kicking a football around them (admittedly, very badly) or getting involved in arts and crafts or board games.
My Qualifications
BA English and Drama - University of Kent (2011-2014)
MA English - UCL (2019-2021 - part-time whilst nannying)
My Availability
Any evening from around 5pm. Weekends flexible. Overnights on Fridays and Saturdays. 1-2 days regular after school help from April 2024.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
£14ph for babysitting. £20ph for nannying (include pick-up, homework, dinner, bath etc).
