About Me
I'm a certified Hypnobirthing Instructor and Postnatal Doula.
I have years of experience working as a Nanny and in a Pre-school setting.
I've worked with families with multiple children of all ages including newborns.
I feel really passionately about the post-natal period and how it can effect your parenting journey and sense of self for years to come. I believe that after giving birth, whether vaginally or through caesarian birth, birthing people need and deserve rest and a level of support that our society simply doesn't value or provide. I am here to provide that support in the way that works best for you and your family, whatever that may be.

- Post natal nurturing hypnotherapy sessions tailored to you.

- Looking after your baby and/or other children while you rest, have time to yourself, take a shower or bath. (I am DBS checked and have my paediatric first aid certificate.)

A little bit about my interests: I’m pretty laid back and some of my hobbies are watching films, going to galleries and going for walks. I have a keen interest in history, art and politics and I love theatre, which is where I used to work in the costume department. I’m an avid reader, enjoy knitting, dancing (badly) and cooking. As my previous career was in the creative arts I am very into crafts and imaginative play. I also subscribe to a gentle parenting approach to childcare and always try to bring a creative and engaged attitude to any frustrations that occasionally arise, especially with toddlers!
My Experience
I was the eldest of 5 children which gave me a good grounding in how to care for children of all ages as well as an understanding of basic first aid, cooking, etc.
After having my daughter I had a complete shift in what I wanted to do with my career. I retrained as a Hypnobirthing Instructor and Postnatal Doula and began to work as a Nanny as well. I have over 5 years experience working in this area as well as working in a pre-school nursery setting. I am able to provide references from the lovely families that I have supported, whether it be in a childcare capacity or cooking, birth debriefing, and much more.
My Qualifications
My A-levels were in English Literature, Late Modern History, Art Textiles and Media Studies. My degree is in Costume for Theatre and Film.
