About Me
I am 34 years old with no children of my own.
I am very passionate and dedicated in the work I do and have been in the childcare industry for over 15 years. I started off as a nursery teacher many years ago and decided to specialise in Autism and SEN. I went on to become a SENCO of a nursery and then decided to work with families privately. I have done sole charge nanny duties as well as providing sole 1-1 sessions with children on the autism spectrum and/or with speech and language delay.
I can attend your home, or attend the nursery your little ones attend to carry out these sessions.
I am also available for sole charge nanny roles where your child does not require any additional support other than early year’s development which I have extensive experience in.
I will not only form a loving bond with your little ones but I will help them to be the best that they can be by giving them the best support and foundations to blossom.
I love to read, travel, do lots of research, attend regular courses, clean and cook fresh and healthy food in my spare time.
My Experience
15 years experience as an early years SENCO, nursery teacher, (EYFS framework) 1-1 ASD support and a sole charge nanny.
I am always improving my skills and thoroughly enjoy child development (EYFS framework) and child psychology. I have a diploma in childcare, a SEND complete diploma and training in child psychology . I hold an up to date DBS and paediatric first aid certificate.
I am very passionate about making a difference in these young children’s lives. They are our future and deserve the best start in life.
I enjoy completing regular training courses to extend my knowledge in these areas.
I have also tutored younger children under the age of 8 in English and maths.
If you would like more of a sole charge nanny role I am available Monday- Friday from 8-5/5.30
My hours during school holidays may differ.

Lauren looked after my daughter for a year until our situation changed and we needed a different childcare arrangement. Our daughter immediately clicked with her as she has a fantastic way with children- she is fun, educational, always thinking up new activities, but also knows when children are tired and need some comfort/a rest. She was great at doing homework and making it enjoyable and really supported improvements in our daughter’s reading. I would come home in the evening- our daughter would have had a brilliant afternoon of activities in and out of the house, well fed, homework done, and bathed. Highly recommend Lauren- a dedicated childcare professional.
