About Me
I have worked with children of all ages for over a decade and have both an undergraduate and postgraduate degree in child development. My hands on childcare experience includes; nannying, teaching, tutoring, babysitting and mental health coaching.
My education and experience has taught me how to adapt to children's individual needs and temperament. As such, I enjoy channelling rambunctious energy into engaging physical activities (e.g. home made obstacle courses), as well as exploring children's creativity through calmer activities (e.g. arts and crafts). My favourite part of Nannying is the bonds I make with the children in my care, as well as the sense of reward I feel helping them to learn and grow.

I have nannied for several years and am currently in the process of becoming Ofsted registered.
My Experience
Youth Mental Health Worker
I work for the charity Sport in Mind. This entails also offer mental health support to children and adolescent through talking therapy and sport.
Nannying
I have Nannied for a several different families. This includes looking after 4 children under 3. I helped with homework, cooked, potty trained, created activities, took them out on adventures, and built bonds which I will remember forever.
Teaching Assistant
I worked at Micklands Primary School, my focus was children with learning difficulties. I also worked in the playground at lunch time with both infants and juniors.
Lead Teacher
I worked at a daycare in America. I was responsible for a different age group each day. The age groups varied from small infants to kindergartens. In the summer we ran a camp whicch included children up to 13.
Babysitting
I have babysat for many families over the years, this includes families in the US. Ages include New Born - 13.

My Availability
I am looking for a permanent position part-time position, with the majority of hours taking place during school time.
I am available Monday - Thursday and flexible with what days and hours I can work . However, as I have a young son myself I would like a position which gives me the flexibility to pick him up from school 1/2 days a week.
I am also available for ad hoc work and temporary positions. Including school holidays.
For babysitting jobs I am available most week day evenings and some weekends.
