About Me

My name is Samantha Ansell, i'm 32 years old living in Twyford and I have been a nanny for 9 years now. I am a qualified level 3 practitioner since 2009. I am an organised and punctual person, prepared for anything. I am reliable, hardworking, computer literate and a quick learner and is easily adaptable to your family's routine. I'm friendly, polite and respectful of other people's feelings. i enjoy swimming and all types of sport and being outdoors. I am CRB checked and have a clean driving licence with own car.

My Experience

Family home in Charvil - this is where I am currently working full time with a girl who’s 8 and a boy who’s 6 and have currently been with them 5 and half years. They are now both in school so I complete household jobs during the day. I also have been bringing my own little boy who is now 4 with me and will be attending the same school come September.

Family home in Marlow - I worked as a full time nanny (mon-fri) of a 4 year old little girl, whose now just started at school and a 2 year old boy. During this role I have also worked a couple of nights a week as a night nanny for the boy from when he was newborn on top of my normal nanny role which included taking the girl to preschool a couple of mornings a week, taking them to activities and clubs as well as planning play dates. I also prepare meals for the family and other general nursery duties.

Edith Rose Day Nursery - May 12- April 14 - This is where i worked as a nursery nurse with children aged 18mths-3yrs, taking care of their basic needs - feeding, changing nappies/toilet training as well as planning age appropriate activities to develop them in all areas of the curriculum. I have also worked from time to time, in both the baby room (6 months - 2 years) and the preschool room (3-5 years) when needed

Family home - I worked as a temporary nanny on a short term basis for a family with 2 girls aged 1 and 3 while their permanent nanny was unavailable in times such as holidays or illness. my role included taking the older child to preschool a couple of mornings, taking both of them to clubs such as swimming and music/dance as well as making them breakfast, lunch and dinner and then bathing them before bed as well as light housework.

Woodcote Primary School - This is where I did my first week of work experience in year 10 at Langtree. I worked in the reception class/Foundation Stage; it showed me whether I would like to become a teacher. I really enjoyed it. I also went back to work here as part of my college course at Henley College; I did 2 days a week for 3 months. It gave me more experience in working in a school as a teacher.

The Cabin Pre-school - This was my first placement for my college course, I did this for 2 days a week for 3 months. It took care of children aged between 2 and 4 years old. I also then went back in the Easter and summer holidays to work as a paid job to help with the holiday scheme.

Babysitting - i work whenever i am needed, either in the evenings in the week or at the weekends and sometimes during the day.

My Availability

With my own little boy in school from September and the children I currently nanny for also being at school has freed up some of my time during the day (between 10am and 2pm) and was wondering if there was anyone interested with childcare help, errands being done, washing, tidying, dog walking etc during these hours? It would be during term time only as have the kids full time in holidays.
