About Me
Hi, my name is Sharon and I'm an Ofsted registered nanny looking for nanny and babysitting work, ideally in the Bournemouth / Christchurch area.
I am passionate about working with and caring for children and supporting their growth and development. Having six and a half years’ professional experience working with children as well as personal experience caring for children of family and friends, I am familiar with supervising children, planning and organising age appropriate activities and meeting the individual needs of each child.
During my career I have worked with and cared for babies and children between two weeks and eleven years of age in various settings. This includes working with twins, including newborn twins and twins of primary school age (age 7) and also children with additional needs (including cerebral palsy and down syndrome). My experience includes working in a Children's Centre, a Primary School, an Infant School, a Day Nursery, After School Clubs and more recently as a Nanny and Baby Nanny. I have worked as a nanny for two and a half years now.
On a personal level I am enthusiastic, compassionate and reliable. My hobbies include art and craft, cooking and baking and walking and cycling.
I am happy to help with reading and homework and to undertake light household duties.

Sharon is an honest, reliable and caring nanny. She's been looking after my 14 month old once a week for the last month. She's very kind and you can tell she really enjoys spending time with my daughter. She is good at communicating and updating me on naps, eating and drinking when I get home. My daughter has additional needs (she has down's syndrome and has a stoma) and Sharon is proactive and thoughtful in her approach with her.

Sharon is reliable, trustworthy and hard working. She is an all rounder - excellent with babies, toddlers and older children. She has looked after our twin newborns, 3 yr old and 5 yr old, and is loved by them all (and us) 😊.

Sharon has been wonderful, really helped our family with looking after our newborn baby from only a few weeks old. Sharon is a very caring and gentle person and I had no hesitation of letting her take care of our precious one while I managed to get some rest.
I also liked that Sharon was very I interactive with our baby, lots of talking with her and playing. Sharon also managed to fit into our family and was flexible around the help we needed on the day.

Sharon was taking care of our son Daniel when he was only 1.5 years old. We were very happy about our experience with Sharon.
She is a very responsible person. She always arrived a few minutes before the arranged time. Sharon was actively playing with Daniel (singing, reading books, talking) and our son was very happy with her.
What is worth mentioning is that Sharon agreed to look after Daniel also when he had tonsillitis. She was great with monitoring his temperature and giving him the required medicines.
We always felt very reassured when Sharon was looking after Daniel. She is a very warm and friendly person and we would highly recommend her.
