About Me
I am looking for a good family to make the next step in my childcare career in becoming a nanny. I’ve never been one before but I have been in childcare in a nursery setting since I left school at the age of 16. I am now 29 and have had over 10 years of experience looking after children in early years. I am looking for full time work Monday - Friday. Preferably between 35 - 40 hours a week.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare in a nursery environment for over 10 years. Being a room leader for over 7 of those years. I have good experience with all ages in the early years however I have worked mostly with ages 18months - 3 years. Working closely with that age has allowed me to gain lots of experience with the transition from nappies to pants also. I also absolutely loved my time working with the previous school children - getting them ready for school physically, mentally and resilient wise was so so rewarding!
I have a level 3 in childcare & young people’s workforce diploma. I also am paediatric first aid trained. I have a good understanding of safeguarding and have done some courses in this area. I’m also fire awareness trained.
