My Summary

My Experience

I am the eldest of 3 siblings and have always been in contact with children due to the size of my own family. However, I gained real experience in childcare during my gap year as an au-pair in the UK. I lived with 2 different families, with one for 13months and the other for 3 months. Throughout this time I worked with children aged 1-9, both boys and girls.

My daily activities included:
- school run
- preparing well-balanced and healthy snacks and dinner for after school
- simple tidying and cleaning up in the house
- physical activities such as cycling, playing in the garden etc. on school-free days
- organizing play dates

Throughout my undergraduate, I have worked as a wrap-around school nanny. This role included driving the kids to and back from school. I am a very responsible and experienced driver of 10 years.

I am still very much in contact with all families, and love catching up with them whenever possible.

I am fluent in German, Turkish and English. If you are looking for someone that can help your kids language skills, I can also help out in this aspect.

My Qualifications

BSc Sport and Exercise Science
Throughout the years, I have adapted and learned best ways of approaching children and including them any decision making. I do not possess any childcare/child development related qualifications, but I had the great opportunity to learn by doing. This will be evident in references.

My Availability

I am part-time available with flexible hours covering weekends too
