About Me
Hi, my name is Vanessa. I live in Tring (Hertfordshire). I am a very pro active person and in my spare time I like to take my dog for walks and spend time with my family. I am looking for a full or part time position within the local area. I am also happy to take on house keeping duties and I am also happy to help out with pets within the family (dog walking and general pet care).
My Experience
I have over 15 years experience working with children specifically early years. I have a wealth of knowledge and understanding and I have SEN experience. I am currently a nanny/housekeeper for a family of 3 boys and have been with them for nearly 3 years, but unfortunately my role will be coming to an end in October. Previous to my current role, I worked in a school setting primarily as a teaching assistant but I also managed a breakfast and afterschool club within the school. I have trained and have experience in Phonics, handwriting practice, makaton sign language and supporting children with speech and language needs. I am a friendly , fun person with a caring nature.
I am a very flexible person and this has worked well in my career and for the current family I work with.

I have an NVQ level 2 early years and childcare qualification. I am DBS checked and I have my paediatric first aid up to date.
