About Me
Hi my name is Penny, I am a 21 year old babysitter/child minder/nanny and have experience with children aged 2-14, including children that experience difficulties. I am due to start studying environmental studies in February therefore am looking for a family that need assistance on a more regular/stable basis so I can have a set schedule!
Experienced in multiple housekeeping settings and care settings so am familiar with meal prep, thorough cleaning, medication etc.
I’m very nurturing and also full of fun so I find bonding with children, whilst keeping them entertained, comes with ease. I’d describe myself as very artistic and outdoorsy so am more than happy to go for days out or stay in the home.
I currently work as a part time nanny/baby sitter for a 5 year old little boy. We have bonded immensely and have lots of fun but I feel it’s nearly time for me to move onto something a little more regular with more hours.
I can provide references and would absolutely love to spend some time here and there with potential children to care for, so we can bond and you could make sure I’m exactly what you would need, personality and schedule wise!

My Experience
Im currently based in the Canterbury area working with a phenomenal, 5 year old little boy. I pick him up from school every afternoon, including from school club out of term time.
We often go to the park, the woods, feed the ducks, bake, cook and build forts! These are just some of his favourite activities.
I used to regularly babysit a little boy and girl for a local family, ages 9 and 11. We often spend time crafting, doing school work and occasional outings if time permits. This has been for a year.
I also have a younger brother with autism/ADHD who I have been working with my entire life so I can handle children with difficulties of any age very well. I also have experience as a weekend/evening babysitter over the space of 3 years for 3 children, aged 2,5 and 7. Also including one child high on the autism spectrum.

My Availability
Ideally I would like to start at in the new year as soon as possible but would have to be a little bit of wiggle room to allow my current family time to find a new child carer. This would all have to be discussed to fine tune.
