About Me
I am a 38 year old mother to 1. My daughter is 15 years old now, quite self sufficient and only ever so slightly moody.. I am the eldest of 4 girls (now women!), with a niece and nephew whom I love to bits. My mum was a childminder, so I had always been around babies and children. I absolutely love kids, just one of those maternal people that gravitate towards them every time. I definitely think that I was born to be a mother and look after children. Although that is not my profession now, I think that's why I have signed up to be a babysitter, I miss being around kids and feel its better that I get to look after them and then hand them back to you parents :)
I was a registered childminder for 6 years, up until 2012 when my daughter started full time school and I decided I wanted my house back! I do work full time Monday-Friday but will try to help where I can. I know how hard it is to find trustworthy people to look after your loved ones when you are unable.
My Experience
Back in the day I was a registered childminder from 2006 until 2012. I was fully checked and do know basic first aid, food hygiene, manual handling, health and safety etc, although it has been a few years so I attended a course. I have NVQ level 3 in childcare also.
My Qualifications
I have an NVQ 3 in childcare, I have attended many courses whilst childminding. This includes First Aid, Food Hygiene, behaviour management. This was quite some years ago though.
My Availability
I can do overnights, however it would be best to do it at my house in Netherton. I do have a spare room available. I can do evenings and weekends. With notice can do the odd weekday also.
