About Me
I am currently studying towards my post grad in primary teaching. Previous to this, I worked in a primary school as a learning assistant and at an after school club. For 3 month I worked in Greece at a kids club in a 5 star hotel resort.
I also currently babysit for a few families as and when they need me.
I have lots of experience with children of all ages.
My Experience
I am a big sister to 3 and there is a big age gap between me and my younger siblings, I am 23 and they are 4, 8 and 13 years old, so I have babysat them plenty of times and understand the importance of helping children reach their full potential. I also work at a breakfast and after school club with children aged 4-11 years old, so I have plenty of experience around children of all age groups. Here I prepare snacks, plan and deliver arts and crafts activities, sports activities, read and listen to stories, play games, help with homework and all around have fun. I deal with accidents that may occur and follow the correct policies and procedures when they do. I am very passionate about children and enjoy working with them to help them grow educationally and personally. I have also just completed 12 weeks in Greece at a 5 star hotel working at the crèche/kids club and coaching children’s football.
My Qualifications
I have a HND in sports therapy. Then I went onto study at Stirling University and have recently finished with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sports Studies. Due to my current job as a playworker I have done many training modules on childcare, safeguarding around children and health and safety aspects.
My Availability
I am available all throughout summer mostly every day, day and night.
