About Me
I am offering childcare and home help to local parents in my area. With plenty of notice I can accommodate any hours needed and even last minute emergency childcare if needed too.
I am very patient and calm with children and previous families have felt like I am part of the family because I care for their children as though they are my own.
I don't drive but I am willing to walk or get public transport/taxi if it means I can take a bit of stress away and help out a family.
I am willing to do little jobs around the house too and don't mind cleaning too if required and if it helps takes pressure and stress from the family.
I am comfortable around family pets as well.
My Experience
I have been looking after children since I was 14 years old with one of my youngest siblings. I then helped raise my youngest sibling alongside my own child at 18.
I have experience of dealing with additional needs through my own siblings and other families I have babysat for previously.
Where I previously lived and before Covid I had 4 regular families that I babysat with children ranging from age 6 to age 19 but I have experience of younger ages too from raising siblings and my own children.
I have worked in a number of schools and nurseries whilst I was studying childcare and also worked with childminders throughout the summer and other holidays/breaks with children ranging from 8 months old to 19 years old.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 in Childcare and Education.
I also have GCSE C in Maths, English and Science.
I currently hold a Managing Safely IOSH qualification and currently working towards my NEBOSH qualification (Health and Safety)
My Availability
I am available any time that I am required and even offer free childcare if needed for NHS emergency or for Smear tests, please don't be afraid to ask as I am flexible.
