Hi I'm Margaret I'm a fully qualified Early years practitioner working in a primary school in Edinburgh part time.
I live in Musselburgh with my husband and two children 21 and 16
I love walking and running and try to get outdoors on a daily basis.
I also enjoy reading and cooking. I feel I am a very caring, nurturing individual.
I am PVG checked and I am registered with the SSSC.
My Experience
I have an HNC in childcare and Education. Currently I am at Broughton Primary school 3 days a week working in early years. My role is to provide a safe nurturing environment in which to educated and care for 3-5 year olds. I have been there for 9 years. I follow the curriculum of excellence and also early years milestones.
I have been qualified for 28 years and mostly worked in Education.
When my children were younger I worked as a nanny for a couple of families. My duties were the care of the children, school pick up, meal preparation and some light housework.
I have also experience with younger children and worked for 4 years in a local playgroup with 2-3 age group.
Througout my career I have also done babysitting and would like to start this again as with my children being older I have more time on my hands! Age range from 0-16 when babysitting. I was lucky enough to build relationships and develop a bond with my babysitting children as most were regularly until they grew up.
