About Me

Hi, my name is Joanne I am a patient and affectionate registered childminder in Westcliff. I am ofsted registered through a childminding agency. I enjoy all stages of child development and love to see children thrive and have fun. I believe that it is important to provide quality and individual childcare, discussing the parents wishes and values and specific wants and needs.

I complete a daily diary for your little one and a monthly news letter to keep you in the loop about topics and excursions. For each child I care for I also create a memory scrapbook which they will take with them when they leave me.

I offer a home from home setting and have a well stocked play room with toys and activities to suit all ages and interests. There are arts and crafts, imaginative play, puzzles, mark making, musical and dancing activities...I have a comfortable baby room which is calming and fun. The garden is a work in progress but already has a mud kitchen, tree house, construction sandpit, ride alongs and plenty of space to run and play. I closely follow the EYFS guidelines.


Within my fee I provide all meals which are homemade and healthy. I also provide nappies and wipes.

Apart from the activities within the home there will be trips to the park, library, toddler groups, soft play and special days out to the farm, sea life centre and so on...

I like to send photos updates via the tiney parent portal of your child through the day if appropriate so that you don't miss out on anything and pride myself on honest communication.
