About Me
Hi, my name is Kelsie. I live in Blidworth with my partner, baby of 4 months and cat.
I finished school and went into the world of retail for 3 years whilst studying for Media Makeup. I worked as a makeup artist until Coronavirus hit and could no longer carry out that job. My sister went on to have children during this time and immediately fell in love and considered working with children. I looked after my nephew on weekends until I got my first childcare job the following year in 2021. I gained my Level 3 in Early Years whilst working in my first Private Day Nursery, along with some online courses listed below. I absolutely loved this job and knew this is what I wanted to do as a career. I began working in the toddler room, ages 1-2 and then moved to a different nursery closer to home, working with ages 3-5.
Since then, I have had my own baby born December 2023 and would love to help local parents whilst socialising my own baby with work.
My Experience
Baby sitting family as a teenager.
Full time work in Private Day Nurseries since October 2021, working with ages 1-5.
I have my own four month old baby.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Early Years Educator.
Full DBS.
Paediatric First Aid Trained.
Level 2 Introduction to Child Protection.
Completed an Online Course for Exemplary Practice with 2 year olds.
FGM and Prevent trained.
6 GCSE’s graded A*-C including Mathematics and English Language.
