About Me
I am an MSc student studying history at the University of Glasgow. I am from the United States, and I will be teaching middle school history (aged 10-14) next year. I love working with children, so I am looking for flexible or part time babysitting and tutoring positions.
My Experience
I have 7 years of babysitting experience and have cared for children between the ages of 10 months and 7 years. I also worked part time for 2 years at a local gym's "childwatch" center, where I took care of children as young as 6 weeks and as old as 12 years, and I spent a summer as a camp counselor for girl scouts ages 6-14 years. I have been a private tutor for 8 years, working with high school and college students. I also worked as a literacy tutor for first grade students (6 years old). I have completed cultural humility and first aid training (although my first aid certification will expire while I am abroad). I am happy to submit a CV with any additional information!
My Qualifications
I have 8 years of childcare and tutoring experience (see above). I also have a bachelor's degree in history.
My Availability
My class schedule is pretty concentrated on Mondays and Tuesdays, so I am free most days. I am not looking for a lot of hours, but I am very flexible as to when I am available.
