About Me
My name is Lauren. I am a 33-year-old friendly and bubbly qualified primary school teacher, currently working supply in South Lanarkshire. I have over 5 years of teaching experience working with a range of children with different needs and stages of the curriculum. I am fully PVG checked, and hold full registration with the GTC.
I am able to offer tutoring for p1-7 children in all curricular areas, as well as children who struggle with Maths and English at S1 and 2 levels, and could go beyond this level if needed.
What you get if you choose me:
- I would assess your child's need to provide a personalised learning plan, with smart goals, allowing them to see their progress in their learning journey.
- Monthly parent updates as well as goal reflections.
I am able to tutor most days after school from 4/4:30 pm onwards.
Additionally, I offer a babysitting service where I can lend a helping hand when needed.
I am available most evenings to lend a helping hand.

My Experience
I have been teaching in the primary sector for 5 years. I have also worked with children with a variety of additional support needs, and have adapted my teaching to fit their needs so that they achieve success in their learning. I can offer support in reading, spelling, writing, and numeracy word from primary 1 to primary 7 and for children who might struggle at at secondary level.
I have been babysitting for a number of years, and I'm confident in dealing with all needs of the child.
My Qualifications
BA Primary Education from Strathclyde University.
CPD Child protections (updated annually)
CPD on inclusive education.
CPD on differentiation.
CPD on Building positive relationships and understanding distressed behaviour in children.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
Tutoring from £20.00 per hour + Travel expenses if you would like face-to-face tutoring.
Session 1: - £15 for a consultation- general discussion around learning concerns and support required for sessions.
£20 an hour for tutoring sessions after this, with personalised plan for your child's needs.
Babysitting
£10 per hour + Travel expenses covered.

Lauren is very friendly and kind person, she can engage my daughter into learning process trough play and interesting personalised tasks which is very helpful in our home education journey. Also after few visits she gave me really usueful tips on how I can work with my daughter, to make learning process more fun for her.

I cannot recommend Lauren enough! When she first met us, my children instantly took a liking to her, which as a mother put my mind at ease a little leaving my children. The next day the children couldn't stop talking about how much fun they had with Lauren and asked if she could come back and play. I will definitely be using her services in the future. Thank you for your kind words. I would watch your children anytime 😊, they were little angels.
As a FTM I was feeling very anxious about leaving my LO. When I met Lauren she was really friendly and positive. After speaking to her I told her some of my fears I was having and Lauren was so empathetic and ensured me that my LO was in safe hands and I could call and check up as much as I like.
When I arrived home Lauren had bonded really well with my little girl. Really happy with her, would highly recommend.
