About Me
Hiya, I’m currently a psychology student who enjoys spending time with children. I study in the evenings but available from the morning and afternoons. I live in Mitcham, but happy to travel - do not have a license so would be taking public transport. I have an enhanced DBS check. I consider myself quite adventurous and creative and would love to share that through activities or homework! (I am a fan favourite of active activities like sports and games but home activities like a little drama/acting session, arts and crafts are also my go to!) I’m an understanding and empathetic individual who is adaptable to cultural needs. I always try my best to create a safe, non judgemental space where all thoughts can be expressed and worked through :). Communication with parents is important!
My Experience
I have experience working in a primary school (nursery to year 6) as a midday supervisor and my favourite part was definitely working with nursery and reception (ages 3-5), but the older kids are always fun to play around with during their lunch breaks. I have looked after young family members and helped to raise my younger sister since birth. I have had some experience of being in a childminder setting, youngest being 1 and oldest 5 a few days a week previously. I have also assisted a close friend with their young autistic brother from age 3, alongside assisting with meal prep and household cleaning.

I have a qualification in St John’s Ambulance Youth First Aid
My Availability
I’m available from the mornings until 4/5pm on weekdays but can alter some arrangements if needed - and if some weekend help is needed i can be available too.
