Hello,
My name is Anna. I have 10 years of experience working with students in Primary schools providing one to one tailored support to children with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing and global delay. I have an up to date DBS and degree in Psychology and actively use this in the application of working with students. I have worked as a lead Higher Learning Support Assistant and Behaviour Mentor in a specialist Secondary school for Autism. I am currently working with students who experienced anxiety, low self-esteem, fear of failure and difficulties with emotional regulation.
Tutoring: I am a very caring and patient tutor who takes the time to cater to the individuals need to learn. I have developed various method to breakdown information and support students with learning, and effectively improve their self-esteem to work towards working independently.
Baby sitting: I am nurturing and a proactive individual that has experience looking after up to, 2-3 siblings from toddlers upwards. My roles working within Education have equipped me to understanding the needs of children and providing a relaxing and playful environment for children in their home.
My Experience
I have over 10 years of experience working in mainstream, specialist school for Autism and therapeutic settings in the community. I have worked with Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Educational Psychologists and Autism Specialist Teachers that given me the knowledge to work with students to meet their full potential.
