About Me
I am a mum of 2 children and a wife to my husband, I have worked at a local childminders for the last 8 years (2015) and have been a registered childminder since October 2021.
I have 2 separate playrooms for the kids which they absolutely love! This includes a range of toys for all ages so I know they will never be bored! It also allows the kids to learn things on many different ways.
The playroom is also a sensory room, it has LED lighting around the ceiling, mood lights around the room, disco lights for parties, sensory fish tank, led fibre optic lights, a sensory box and a large black den!
We also have a garden which allows room for the kids to run around in with our amazing artificial grass! We have various bikes, mud kitchen, sand pit, climbing equipment etc
I am only a 5 minute walk from the local schools, a 2 minute walk from the park, and right on a bus route. I am also just off the motorway which can also be handy for some parents. I really believe and push outdoor play for children. Kids will be taken outdoors every day at some point for something. Whether it be to do a bit of their own shopping, for a run around at the park or just for some fresh air in the garden.
I feel that I can provide a great service for a competitive price also with the facilities that I have. Good quality care for your kids isn't always about the cheapest option, but the best care and education for your own children. I feel that I can give you both excellent care, and also for a great price.
My Experience
I have worked with children since 2004, I worked in a local infant school where I took my level 2 earls years qualification.
I then went onto have my own children and was a stay at home mum.
In 2014 I started a part time role at a local school as a lunchtime supervisor, then finding a part time job in 2015 as a childminder assistant, I then completed my level 3 early years and functional skills in ICT, maths and English. In 2021 I then registered as a childminder. I also have my first aid, designated safeguard lead, food hygiene and food allergy certificates.
