About Me
My name is Monika, I am a married mother of three incredible teenagers aged 16, 16 (twins) and 12 and the owner of two cats. We live in a beautiful area of Dagenham Leys; we are located near Dagenham East station - District Line (12-minute walk). 103 and 364 bus stops are within a 5 -7-minute walk. Parks, wildlife, playgroups, community gardens, library, and more are very local to us.
I offer quality and flexible care in a brand new, modern, and well-equipped house through everyday exciting and stimulating activities to ensure children are guided by their interests and can reach their full potential.
I mainly work in my house, my garden, and a near- by park where (in line with the EYFS) your children can develop their creativity and imagination, get to know and respect the nature, where they can feel safe and secure and explore the world through play. We also go on outings in order to develop the children's social skills.
I am a university graduate; I was studying languages: Polish and English and gained teaching qualifications. Being a student, I took a gap year and became an Au-pair in Holland where I took care for two children aged 2 and 5 at the time, who I am still in touch with years later!
I still teach languages in a local supplementary Saturday school.
I am a passionate professional that loves children and wants to see how their individual characters grow and be a part of each child's developmental journey.
I provide care for children aged 1-2 years, 2-4 years, 5+ years.
Funded spaces available for 2, 3 & 4 year olds.
My Experience
I have over 20 years’ experience working in primary and secondary education as a teacher/teaching assistant, I knew from a young age that I wanted to work with children. Due to my professional qualifications and caring nature, I have had plenty of experience with children all the way from nursery age through to Year 12. As a young person I took care of my much younger siblings and cousins. I was an Au-pair for a year. Sometimes I still look after my friends and neighbours` children; our house has always been a friendly place for young people, not to mention that I am a mum by myself and have never had just one child.
My Qualifications
• Ofsted registered by Childminder Agency
• Paediatric First Aid trained
• Food Hygiene certified
• DBS checked and verified including all household members over 16
• FGM certificate and a Prevent duty
• Level 2 Safeguarding
• QTS in MFL and English Studies
• Full and clean driving license
My Availability
I am open from 7.00 am until 6.00 pm all year round/term time only.
I provide school drop-offs and pick-ups (Leys Primary School).
I occasionally do weekends, due to my availability.

Good evening, my names is Katarzyna and I would like to say a few words about Monika who cared for my two boys before and after school over a period of the year. She was pick up my older son from his primary school plus stayed all day with my youngest one who was 1-1.5 year old at this time.
Both my boys enjoyed staying in Monika`s house where the atmosphere was like in the close family. Her daughter was the same age as my youngest son and she managed to provide the best care for her three kids plus mine two ! I think her experience working as a teacher plus be a good mum at home boosted her self confidence to build a childminder carrier way. So I am not worry if you decided to leave your baby with Monika , because she is extremely professional childminder, always giving children full attention during sessions. You absolutely can trust her and be sure that she provides the best good care .
Highly recommended her, even to the most demanding parents like me because I know that she will manage.
