I’m 22 years old and a Philosophy and Politics student at the University of Edinburgh. I’m very active in the student community and I’m a part of several university societies. In my spare time I enjoy going to the theatre and swimming. I’m looking for babysitting/childcare work in the Edinburgh area.
My Experience
I have now been babysitting for close to a decade! I started off with family friends in my home town and look after at least 6 different families over the course of 8 years. Since starting work in Edinburgh I have worked with over 10 different families, with kids who have a variety of needs. The ages ranged from 11 months-12 year olds.
My Qualifications
I don’t have any formal childcare qualifications, I rely on my experience. I have a basic DBS check and several references available. I have a basic understanding of First Aid but also willing to complete training if required.
My Availability
My availability will vary depending on my university timetable. I stay in Edinburgh during the summer and over Christmas/New Year. During this time I will be more flexible. I’m happy to meet you and your family for 1 hour for free, after that normal fees apply. If I have to drive to your home I have a 3hr minimum to account for travel time.

We are so glad we’ve found Grace to help baby sit our 7 year old. She is so much fun and really good with kids. She is always punctual, reliable, conscientious and great at communicating.
