About Me

I am a certified professional working within the education and childcare field for 20 years. I am full of energy, super bubbly, extremely patient and adore empowering children to learn and build confidence in everything they do with a focus on play and creativity.

My experience lies from 0-18 years. My specialism is in Early Years Developmental milestones, play skills, emotional intelligence and communication skills.

I’m a super passionate and bubbly experienced childcare professionals (certified in my field of expertise and happy to show you my board certificate) with a knack for nurturing growth and happiness for newborns and children across ages and needs. My areas of expertise lies within 15 months to 8 years. For over 15 years, I've been on a global adventure from the UK to the US, EU, and UAE that has allowed me to acquire my board certification, child psychology and child development knowledge in addition to working to support schools, nurseries, children centres and families to overcome boundaries in communication, learning and inclusion. Across a variety of roles including, babysitter, mothers helps, private tutor, respite carer for children, and child SEN lead carer some years ago, I hold experience of being in home environments and mucking in wherever needed in order to keep children safe, happy and engaged while parents save the world. My career progressed into a world of Leadership in healthcare and education resulting in less time doing what I love, working with the children. Becoming a mother reminded me why I love working with children and discussions with various mothers led me to take the leap and go back to direct childcare to support families. I understand how important it is to trust the person you leave your child with and to be certain they will be well looked after and keep you involved and well informed. Im excited to support your little one(s), from their first words to the challenges of growing up and realising how unfair it is that we can't have cake for breakfast! I always strive to ensure every child feels valued, empowered and supported.

Play Skills: I believe, in addition to some structure, play is the best way for children to learn and grow. I love to promote creativity, curiosity and security for children to explore and build their imagination, independence and interests.
Leadership: Whether it's leading a group of educators or rallying a group of children for a trip to the zoo,, I am confident in my organisation, listening skills, multi-tasking and communication to keep people working as a unit.
Behaviour and independence: From soothing tantrums to celebrating milestones, I am an extremely calm and patient person who will always model appropriate responding, promote positive self expression and love to praise the big wins and the small wins. I am comfortable helping children of all ages navigate the ups and downs of growing up.
Global and Cultural experience: With experience from different cultures and backgrounds, I bring a unique perspective to childcare that celebrates diversity and inclusion.

I would be providing care/support with my daughter. (NWOC) -DOB Aug 2022. Temporary, weekend permanent or ad hoc.
