About Me
Hello, my name is Jushna but everyone calls me Jay. I have worked with children for over 10 years, starting with my NVQ 2 & 3 in Early years care and education. I have experience in working with in a nursery setting; baby room, toddlers, preschool and also most recently working with in a school. I have experience of working with children with SEND needs and also hold a level 2 in understanding autism.
I really enjoyed working in the school where I was mainly based in reception and worked as a 1-1. I have now decided to change my career and provide and care for children from my own home. I have 2 girls myself and remember how difficult it was to find reliable childcare whilst I worked. I have also been a stay at home mum and looking back now I did really enjoy doing activities at home.
I want to help children achieve their early learning goals whilst exploring and learning through play and offer them a home from home care environment. I intend to use the whole my downstairs, which consists of; living room, dining area, bathroom and garden. It is a pretty large area.
I believe in working closely with parents to bring out the best in every child. A positive approach to help a child learn best.
I am close to the station for easy commute, I have close amenities nearby such as the park, library, soft play and the church that offer stay and play.
My family consists of me, my husband, our 2 daughters and our cat Buddy; who is too friendly.
Our daughters are 11 years and 8 years old.
I have a great knowledge of allergies and the use of EpiPen's too as my daughter has lots of allergies.
I am registered with Ofsted and am currently looking to start minding from September 2023.

My Experience
I have NVQ 2 & 3 in early years care and education, experience of working in a nursery setting, pre school setting and also a primary school. i have worked with children ranging from birth to 5 years and have the knowledge of the early years foundation stages.
I am also a mother and have 2 children myself.
