I'm a student teacher with 5 years experience working for a children's theatre & play charity, working with children aged 0-12 and their families. I have a wealth of games, rhymes, songs and a deep understanding of children's rights and child development. Looking for casual childcare work to supplement my income while I study to become a primary school teacher.
My Experience
I'm a student teacher with 5 years experience working for a children's theatre & play charity, facilitating Storyplay sessions with children aged 0-12 and their parents and carers. I have a huge repertoire of games, rhymes, songs and imaginary play activities. I am deeply interested in early years development and have worked regularly in nurseries as well as in community settings with families.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in modern languages (French & Spanish - fluent Spanish speaker) and a masters in Latin American Studies. I don't hold childcare qualifications but have extensive experience working with 0-12 year olds and have DBS check & up to date first aid certificate. I'm about to start the PGDE in Primary Teaching at Strathclyde.
My Availability
My availability will mainly be evenings and weekends, once I have my timetable I will have a better understanding of possible before school & after school availability.
