My name is Fran, I am 21 years old. I am babysitting to support my jewellery making studies and my jewellery business. I’m a creative, open-minded, fun and cheerful individual. I have babysitting experience over the years, looking after children and infants as young as 8 months old. I can provide references. I am happy to babysit on an ad hoc/regular basis.
I can drive to you. I hold an enhanced DBS and a British Red Cross Paediatric first aid certificate. I recently submitted my Nanny application to the Ofsted register, so I will be eligible to offer tax-free childcare as of April 2024.
In terms of availability, I am flexible but I can't do Mondays 7pm-9pm and on Fridays I am in London for my jewellery diploma course, so I can't do before 7pm.
Children provide so much joy and I believe they should be treated with kindness and have their boundaries respected in order for them to feel safe and confident and bring the best out of them.
I will fully engage with your children, whether it be playing with them, doing creative activities or helping them with their homework. I will support them the best I can wherever need be with a gentle and patient approach, listening to your child’s needs while also following the guidelines that you have set.
I love animals too. I had two dogs who lived long, happy lives, so if you have any pets, I'll be very happy to look after them as well!

Fran has been looking after my daughter, Lola, one day per week for about 4 months now. I'm super happy with the care she provides. I was nervous at first as at 8 months, Lola had been struggling (read wouldn't stop crying) in a different childcare setting, but Fran's super calm, fun presence endeared her quickly. She loves her time with Fran! After a few weeks apart over the holidays, Lola was thrilled to see her again :) Would highly recommend.
