About Me

I am an enthusiastic and kind individual who has over 3 years of experience working with children. I study psychology with the aim to work in developmental children's psychology to help those who truly need it. I am empathetic, caring and have an excellent ear to listen.

My Experience

I worked within a primary school in India volunteering with underprivileged children. I taught then English and they were ages 5-9.
I have also worked in a summer camp for the last 2 years with children aged 5-17. I have dealt with many of the children's issues throughout this time such as homesickness, bullying and concerns about some of their home life. Although some issues were challenging, I was always there to listen and provide comfort where appropriate.

My Qualifications

I have my police background check which I had to get to travel to Canada and work in the summer camp.
I also have my first aid which is certified by the British Red Cross.
I have 2 advanced highers and 6 highers all with grades A and one B in maths.
I am in third year of studying psychology at university of strathclyde.

My Availability

I am a university student, however I am free all day on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. I am pretty flexible with after school times as my university usually finishes at 3pm.
