About Me

First and foremost, I am a mother of 2 (19 and 9yr old) hence the possession of tons of patience. :) besides being a qualified teacher. I am passionate about raising/ educating children of all needs. I've been doing this since I was 19yr old- this is my call and grateful for it.
I love to hear children's laughter and adore to see the sparkles in their eyes when they manage to do or understand something that they initially thought is impossible. I bask in a good laugh, am sociable and friendly. I consider nature to be the best classroom and unconditional love, care and support to be the best teaching resources. I have been described by my friends as being an incurable and contagious optimist and I must admit I am a firm believer in the Law of Attraction- "thoughts become words; words become things". I think that children should be taught how to breathe properly, how to love and accept themselves just the way they are and how to meditate/pray before anything else; before they tackle notions like fractions, decimals, rhymes or adverbial phrases.
Arts, I believe, should not only get in touch with once a week but on a daily basis. I'm always fascinated by new devices and technologies and believe they are a good educational resource but not the best. Maintaining a balanced usage of traditional and modern teaching strategies is one of the traits that, I think, represent me. Yes, academical achievement is important but more important is to raise a healthy, confident and self-sufficient child , in my opinion.
I like to stay up to date with studies on neuroscience and mindfulness, health, self-development and wealth. I enjoy listening audiobooks while crafting and find crocheting and knitting therapeutic. Motto- "All things work together towards a greater good!"
