About Me
Hello! My name is Leanne and I am 28 years old, living in the Hythe and Waterside area. I have 10 years experience working with children aged 0-8 years including children with SEND. I currently work on board cruise ships in the kids club but from June 2024 will not be doing this as much. I am looking for the right family for me to work for, building strong relationships with the family and child/children. I am passionate about the importance of educating children through fun play, experiences and activities and believe this is something that I have learnt to do very well over my 10 years of working with children. I also encourage the importance of children having a wide range of experiences involving the world around them, including nature and their community such as visiting the forest, beach, local parks and libraries to name a few. I believe these environments bring endless opportunities for children to grow in many areas of development in a natural and fun way.
My Experience
I have 10 years experience in early years and childcare, recently leaving a nursery of which I worked at for 9 years. During this time I have cared for and worked with many different children and families including some SEND children.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3, 5 and 6 in early years care and education in addition to SEND training.
My Availability
From June 2024 my availability should have no limits.
