I am a fun, outgoing girl that loves children! I love to be outside, especially when it's sunny. Some of my passions are reading and arts and crafts. I have worked in an office or service job for the past five years, and I am ready to try something different. I want to have a more personable job and know that I am making a difference in an individual's life.
My Experience
I grew up in a family of 8, and have 18 nieces and nephews! I have been a designated baby sitter since I was a young adult for friends and family. I also worked in elderly care for a year and a half. I lived and cared for an elderly lady with dementia. I was responsible for her house being clean, her being well fed, dressed every morning and night, hygiene, and her medical tablets being taken. I also had to keep her entertained and give her company during the time I lived with her. This experience taught me so much about caring for people that are vulnerable and opened up a career for me that I am passionate about.
My Qualifications
As I said before, I have a lot of experience in babysitting. I do not have any qualifications on emergency situations, I am looking to get my first aid training.
My Availability
I am available during the day, in the work week. If I find a family that I regularly work with, I would be willing to work some weekends and some nights.
