My Experience
I primarily have experience with young adults from both my job as a student demonstrator and as a Hall Mentor. My Hall Mentor role requires me to be responsible for student welfare during their time at university. This involves organising flat meetings to deal with living issues as well as visiting students who require support regarding their studies or other personal matters. My Student Demonstrator role involves me assisting with the running of practical sessions as well as providing aid to student’s in terms of calculations and assessments. Both of these roles have allowed me to gain experience in understanding various needs of others when it comes to support I have a basic DBS check.
The main childcare experience I have is with my younger brother from when I was about 18 years old as well as some of my younger cousins when they come to visit from abroad.
