About Me

I have worked in nurseries and schools in KS1 for over 8 years and am an experienced mum of 5, now grown up (ish) children. I have professional experience of babies and children aged 3 months to 7 years, as well as up to teenage years. I'm currently working in a primary school as a 1-1 support and I have lots of experience with SEND, especially autism. I'm currently delivering speech and language sessions which i really enjoy. Im kind, caring, fun and passionate in my work. I'm fairly laid back and I like to have a laugh. I also love cleaning, cooking and being organised, definitely a bit of a Mrs Hinch! My first ever job at 16 was housekeeping in a 5* hotel and its never left me?.

My Experience

I have over 8 years experience of working in nurseries and schools, I am currently working in year 1 at my current job. I have extensive experience of SEND, especially Austism and all aspects of ASD. I have worked mostly as a 1-1 inclusion support, including intimate care, speech and language and a genuine and caring understanding of children's needs.
Prior to this I was a stay at home mummy to my own children 3 boys and 2 girls.

My Qualifications

Safeguarding trained up to date.
Child psychology.
Autism level 2.
Paediatric first aid.
Makaton.
PECS.
Speech and language (currently training).

My Availability

I am available Monday to Friday but I can be flexible where needed if possible. Ideally my hours are between 8am and 5pm, up to 4 days per week term time, although I can be available during half terms by negotiation. I have older girls who are also available for babysitting evenings and weekends.

My Fees

Nannying from £12.00 per hour (gross)

I am happy to negotiate the right fee with the family dependant on the circumstances.
