I am 30 years old, moving to Edinburgh in May 2024 with my partner of 10 years. I am seeking casual employment on a weekend as a babysitter. I am warm and enthusiastic person with a fun and outgoing outlook on life, and would love the opportunity to be a valuable addition to your home.
My Experience
My experience working with children is diverse; a strong foundation of nurturing and educating children of various age groups. I was employed as a part-time, live-out Nanny responsible for a toddler and a primary school-aged child for over two years. My duties included: organisisng fun and educational activites at home and outside of the home (museum, zoo, local parks), transporting to and from extracurricular activities (spot, play dates), meal preparation, assisting with personal cares (bath and bed routine) and light house hold duties including pet care. I also undertook positions as a netball coach and umpire, Biology tutor and carer for a teenage girl with a complex medical history. More recently, my experience extends to caring for infants and assisting with hygiene, feeding, settling and encouraging development, as a support person for family and friends in the early stages of parenthood. Through these experiences I have developed a genuine passion for supporting children of all ages with their social, emotional and cognitive development.
My Qualifications
I am a Registered Nurse with a Graduate Diploma in Intensive Care Nursing. I have adult and pediatric first-aid qualifications and a working with children clearance. I have my driver's license.
My Availability
I am available Monday to Friday, and would be open to occassional weekend work.
