Hi! - I'm Kyra, I'm 18 years old as well as a student currently studying at NESCOL. I have a tendency to be very engaging with children as well as wanting to form close bonds with the children and the families involved. It really makes me happy to see the little ones learn and grow within the environments that they're in. I also ensure that the child's safety and happiness is the priority.
My Experience
I grew up around my grandmother who was a childcarer herself and I learned multiple skills as well as took care of my younger step siblings in her footsteps. My step brother has ADHD, autism and is non-verbal to which I've adapted and learnt how to take care of him in a way that won't affect him. In secondary, I undertook a childcare apprenticeship which consisted of me working with primary school children aged 5-13.
My Qualifications
A's & B's in 7 National 5 subjects, currently studying at highers level.
Halfway completed a childcare service apprenticeship.
My Availability
Free on all weekends though weekdays vary due to college.
